Managing Director of Dassault Systémes EuroNorth – Day 2
Stephen Chadwick is Managing Director of Dassault Systémes EuroNorth – which comprises the UK and Ireland, the Nordic and Baltic regions, and Benelux. The EuroNorth region accounts for nearly one-quarter of Dassault Systémes’ global revenue with over 1400 personnel.
Whilst steering the business to financial success, Stephen is leading the drive to extend Dassault Systémes’ footprint and deliver customer value. His role also covers the integration of corporate acquisitions, R&D, regions and brands, into one unified team – one Dassault Systémes. He previously held senior management positions at British Telecom and EMC, following a distinguished fifteen-year career with The Royal Navy. In his current role Stephen combines this military and business experience to deliver business growth through the deployment of Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE Technology.

Roger Malkusson holds a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. After 20 years at Saab Automobile having different positions like Head of Technology Research and Complete Vehicle Development he got an assignment year 2005 building up General Motors Joint Venture Engineering Center in Shanghai. After 5 years at Qoros – a Chinese start-up company received second most positive media respons at Geneva Autoshow 2013 – he has since 2015 had the role as Vice President for Vehicle Engineering at another Shanghai-based start-up company NIO. NIO is an Electrical Vehicle company bringing break-through technologies and an innovative business model to the market with the aim to bring a joyful user experience to the customers using e.g Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Driving technology.
Magnus Melander is a Swedish entrepreneur and ICT professional with 30+ years of international experience. Magnus is Sales Director at the connected car company Springworks, the owner of the consulting firm Wbird, he is co-founder and evangelist at the hardware hub THINGS and serves at the boards of THINGS, Clue, April Systems and Mobile Institute Stockholm. His focus is on IoT and he founded the Swedish M2M Service Enablers (SMSE) alliance 2012, today having 70 members and 21 partners.
Magnus was Partner at BrainHeart Capital, a VC devoted to wireless technologies, which he co-founded 2000 and he is currently advisor to Instabridge, Talkpool and WSI. Magnus ICT industry experience includes senior international positions with IBM, Apple and 3Com.
At 3Com, Magnus held several senior executive positions, including Marketing Director Europe, Network Service Provider Director EMEA and New Business Development Director EMEA. During his years at Apple he held a number of executive positions including Country Manager Finland, Channel Marketing Director Europe and Channel Strategy Director Europe. Magnus is a frequent speaker at international industry events and writes his IoT blog connectcompute.com and the Internet of Everything Chronicle.

Pontus Herin has 15 years of experience as a financial journalist from several Swedish newspapers and television channels. He is a popular speaker and frequently chairs economic and business seminars. Pontus has also written a widely recognised book about the segregation in Swedish suburbs.
Robin Teigland is a professor of business administration, with a specialization in strategy and digitization, at the Stockholm School of Economics. Her research interests lie at the intersection between strategy, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. She focuses on how the Internet, social media, crypto-currency, and other new technologies such as 3D printers enable self-organizing groups to create value beyond a company’s traditional boundaries, challenging the long-standing institutional structures and create new informal networks. Robin Teigland has also been called Sweden’s startup professor.

Bertrand Sicot brings more than 25 years of sales operations leadership in both domestic and international engineering businesses to the 3DS Value Solutions Channel. With more than 550 partners in 36 countries, the indirect sales channel sells all of the Dassault Systèmes brands and industry solutions.
Bertrand most recently served as the CEO of Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corp. where he oversaw the growth of the brand into a comprehensive portfolio for intuitive, integrated 3D design with more than 2.5 million users.
